| Bio: | Updated May 2007: I figured it was time to update my user info. I wrote the previous bio over five years ago. To be honest, it feels like it has been longer. A lot has changed since 2001. This year I will celebrate the 1st anniversary of my 29th birthday. (Do the math.) I made it through my quarter-life crisis - with a few bumps and scrapes, but without any significant scars. The past five years I've learned how to be a grown-up - and I now surround myself with people who give me permission to ignore those lessons. My interests have changed - although the previous list still applies. (I'll admit that my interest in Britney Spears has changed a little bit, but how can anyone say she isn't interesting?) My LJ is a very personal one - and for that reason I keep my friends-list small. Please don't be offended if you have friended me and I have not reciprocated. But if you are truly interested, please send me an email. I love making new friends - I'm just careful about how I do it. Written December 2001 Look up quarter-life crisis in the dictionary and there will be a picture of me. Well...probably not, because that term is not even in the dictionary. I think Oprah created it. Anyway, I'm in my mid-twenties. (Yikes. I've never said it that way before. God, I feel old.) I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up. I'm not even sure I ever want to grow up. I'm a pop music junkie. N Sync peaked my interested. Who knew that that was just the tip of the iceberg. I have recently rediscovered my obsession with politics--partly because I want to have Josh Lyman's children and partly because the President of the United States and his croonies have apparently never read the Constitution. I find that disturbing. | ||||
